At the meeting, Yen Binh district reported on the results of implementing national target programs related to the field of information and communication in the district and Dai Minh commune.

According to the report, up to now, Yen Binh district has achieved 22/22 communes with postal service points; telecommunications and Internet services; radio stations and loudspeaker systems to villages; and IT applications in management and operation.

According to the annual DTI digital transformation ranking results, the district always ranks first among 9 districts, towns and cities in the province, ranking 3rd (in 2022) and 4th (in 2023).

Along with that, the district has built, applied, developed technical infrastructure and platforms to serve digital transformation of high-speed wifi network, popularized to 100% of communes and towns, built IOC smart operation center at district level, OC at commune level, paperless meeting room platform; maintained the use of the platform "Yen Bai province electronic party member handbook" at 100% of party cells across the district.

The district also cooperated with postal and telecommunications enterprises to bring 100% of key agricultural products and OCOP products of enterprises, cooperatives, and production households to the Voso and Postmart trading floors. 100% of communes and towns implemented cashless payments to beneficiaries of social security policies. 100% of tourism service business locations implemented cashless payments...

In Dai Minh commune, the proportion of the working-age population with smartphone subscriptions reached over 80.4%. The rate of online settlement records reached over 93.5% of the total number of administrative procedure settlement records of the commune. 100% of administrative officials and civil servants were trained in digital knowledge, skills and information security...

At the same time, 100% of villages meet the needs of using landline telephone services and land mobile information; 100% of villages in the commune are capable of providing Internet services according to standards.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong highly appreciated the results that Dai Minh commune, Yen Binh district has achieved in implementing national target programs related to the field of information and communications.

Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong requested the Department of Information and Communications of Yen Bai province and Yen Binh district to continue to promote efficiency and invest well in IT infrastructure.

The Deputy Minister also emphasized the need to strongly deploy online public services to serve administrative reform, maximize postal services and promote digital transformation. The goal is to create favorable conditions for people and businesses, thereby narrowing the gap in socio-economic development.

Regarding the recommendations and proposals of the localities, the Deputy Minister of Information and Communications directly responded and assigned the functional units of the Ministry of Information and Communications to respond and consider supporting the localities.

In Dai Minh commune, the working group also inspected the actual operation of the radio station applying information technology - telecommunications; commune post office; commune post office and grapefruit growing model using Vmark Viettel traceability software.

Following the working program in Yen Bai, on August 5-6, Deputy Minister of Information and Communications Bui Hoang Phuong and the working delegation will work with 14 Departments of Information and Communications in the Northern midland and mountainous region; visit and work with the Department of Information and Communications of Yen Bai, Yen Bai Provincial Post Office, and Yen Bai Provincial Public Administration Center./.
