This morning, April 29, the Ministry of Education and Training announced the number of candidates registered for the High School Graduation Exam by subject.

Specifically as follows:

The 2025 High School Graduation Exam will take place on June 27 and 28. This year is the graduation year of the first graders studying under the new 2018 general education program.

According to the new program, students do not have to study all subjects as before, but only study 4 subjects including Math, Literature, History, Geography and can choose to study 4 more subjects from the remaining subjects. Therefore, the graduation exam has many changes when candidates only have to take 2 compulsory subjects: Literature, Math and can choose 2 more subjects from the subjects they have studied in high school. Accordingly, the exam has more subjects than previous years.

To ensure the rights of candidates studying under the 2006 program to be able to register for the exam, the Ministry of Education and Training will have two exams for two groups of candidates studying under two different programs.
