Ha Nam Provincial Women's Union raises women's awareness of entrepreneurship

Through 12 propaganda conferences organized by the Ha Nam Provincial Women's Union, many members and women have had access to practical information, more motivation and knowledge to boldly develop ideas, develop start-up models, contributing to enhancing the role of women in local socio-economic development.

Implementing Decision No. 939/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2017 of the Prime Minister approving the Project "Supporting women to start businesses in the period 2017 - 2025" (Project 939), the Women's Union at all levels in Ha Nam province has helped many members and women realize their business ideas, become rich, and affirm the role of women in socio-economic development in the locality.

To help members start and successfully start a business, the Women's Union at all levels in the province has actively coordinated with relevant departments, branches and units to organize propaganda and mobilize members and women to raise awareness of the Party and State's policies and laws on start-ups and business development. Thereby, arousing the entrepreneurial spirit, potential and creativity of women; promoting the realization of business ideas and the development of enterprises, cooperatives, individual business households and newly established enterprises managed by women.

In particular, through the annual Women's Entrepreneurship Day program, the Association has organized introductions, consultations, and connections for women with business ideas to participate in vocational training classes, business start-up knowledge training, legal support on branding, intellectual property, connection with the banking system, credit institutions for loans, etc.; helping many female members who want to start a business to learn knowledge and do business effectively.

Implementing the Project "Supporting women to start a business in the period of 2017-2025" in 2025, the Women's Union of Ha Nam province organized 12 conferences to raise women's awareness of starting a business, developing a business, starting a business; propagating the Party and State's policies and guidelines on starting a business, propagating typical start-up examples with the participation of 1,200 core members , branch heads and women starting a business in 6 districts, cities and towns.

At the conferences, members listened to reporters from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Provincial Women's Union to propagate and disseminate important contents related to: Policy mechanisms to support the development of OCOP products, protection and management of intellectual property development for brands for local products, trade promotion activities to boost product consumption and propaganda of the Project "Supporting women to start a business" in 2025.

This is an opportunity for the Ha Nam Provincial Women's Union to inform and propagate the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws on start-ups and business start-ups; to propagate the role and position of women in economic development, model building; to support collective and individual models to be more creative, innovative and develop in start-ups and business start-ups.
