Based on the school year plan submission of the Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province, the Provincial People's Committee has approved the opening date for all levels of education on September 5, 2024.

Regarding the time to start school, preschoolers will start studying on August 28; primary school will start studying on August 26; for first graders, the time to start school is August 19, 2024; middle school, high school and vocational education will start studying on August 26, 2024.

For primary, secondary and high school levels, the first semester of continuing education will start on September 6, 2024 and end on January 18, 2025; the second semester will start on January 20, 2025 and end on May 25, 2025, and the school year will end on May 31, 2025.

For preschool level, semester I starts on September 6, 2024, ends on January 17, 2025; semester II starts on January 20, 2025, ends on May 23, 2025; completes the program on May 23, 2025; ends and summarizes the school year on May 30, 2025.

The decision on the school year schedule of the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province also clearly stipulates that the 2025 high school graduation exam, the national excellent student exam and the national science and technology exam will be carried out according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.

The provincial-level exam to select excellent 12th grade students and the national excellent student team will take place on October 14 and 15, 2024; the provincial-level exam to select excellent 9th grade students will take place on March 15, 2025; the entrance exam to grade 10 of the provincial Ethnic Boarding High School will take place on May 30, 2025; the entrance exam to grade 10 of high schools (public system) will take place on June 3, 4, 5 and 6, 2025.

The recognition of secondary school graduation must be completed before June 30, 2025; the recognition of completion of primary school must be completed before June 30, 2025; and the admission of first-level classes must be completed before July 31, 2025.

In particular, holidays and Tet holidays are implemented according to the provisions of the Labor Code. Teachers' annual leave is implemented during the summer vacation or can be arranged alternately at other times of the year to suit the specific characteristics and time plan of the 2024-2025 school year.
