The international conference "The role and contribution of the UNESCO movement to the cultural industry" is part of a series of activities to welcome the 43rd World Federation of UNESCO Associations Executive Committee Conference, hosted by the Vietnam Federation of UNESCO Associations (VFUCA), Ngay Nay Magazine and UNESCO Information Center, on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ha Long Bay receiving the title of "World Natural Heritage" (1994).

The title "Pioneer in the 2024 Heritage Journey" is a recognition of BIM Group's sense of responsibility and achievements in developing tourism infrastructure, preserving and promoting the potential value of Ha Long Bay - a place that has been honored by UNESCO three times as a world natural heritage.

The project not only has traffic value but also acts as a backbone, creating momentum for the development of the Halong Marina Urban Area project with a scale of 248ha stretching over 3.8km of coastline, with a total investment of more than 2 billion USD.

The highlight of Halong Marina is 85 hectares of trees and water, bringing the landscape density to 35% of the project area. BIM Group has joined hands with prestigious international consulting units such as Coopers Hill (Singapore), Belt Collins (USA), Kume (Japan)... to create ecological green circles, bringing the Biophilic style - design that brings biology into every corner of the city.

Efforts to create green spaces and open spaces at Halong Marina are considered to have contributed to improving the quality of life of residents and tourists, while beautifying the natural landscape, creating a giant "green lung" next to the heritage bay.

Halong Marina is also a residential destination for the elite of Ha Long, creating a civilized and elite community on the bay. This place has also become an attractive destination for a series of world-famous hotel brands such as InterContinental and Sailing Club, which will bring a completely new positioning and affirm the position of the heritage city of Ha Long on the global luxury tourism map.

In the long-term vision to 2030, Halong Marina is being positioned not only as a new growth pole of Ha Long, but also as a new prosperous maritime commercial center of the country.

In the coming time, 86 hectares of trees and water surface will be added, completing the stylish living space on the bay shore. A series of entertainment events, music festivals, or running races... will also be deployed to elevate Halong Marina to become one of the most attractive entertainment destinations in Ha Long, enriching the living experience for the community of residents and tourists in the world natural heritage bay.
