During the 4 days of the Competition, people and tourists enjoyed 24 folk art troupes from provinces and cities across the country performing unique performances, creating a colorful cultural heritage space with different levels of emotions.
The Artisan Groups brought 108 performances, including solos, traditional musical instrument ensembles, dances, solos, duets, and group singing. The performances were staged by the artists, musicians, and choreographers with skillful talent, sophistication, dedication, and creativity from the heart, containing a burning love for the nation's intangible cultural heritage.

The audience was immersed in the festival space, the unique rituals of 24 folk art troupes performing to reenact sacred and respectful rituals towards the gods and ancestors who have contributed to the country. These are the Hoang Sa soldier's feasting ceremony of Quang Ngai province; the Dao Coc Mun ethnic group's rank-and-file ceremony in Tuyen Quang province; the Chief Ceremony of Mr. and Mrs. Do Cong Tuong in Dong Thap province...
Many units have creatively sought to lead viewers to a deeper understanding of the customs and beliefs of ethnic minorities such as: Re-enacting the brotherhood ceremony of the Co Tu people in Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province; Performing the ball dance in Ho Chi Minh City; Traditional festivals celebrating the new rice crop, praying for a good harvest, Pon Pong festival... folk games and stories are recreated in a fun, attractive and unique way.


The culinary competition with 20 participating groups brought to the competition over 100 unique dishes. Many everyday dishes are simple, but under the talented hands of the artisans, they are decorated and displayed aesthetically, creating a colorful, eye-catching tray... In his closing speech at the competition, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, Deputy Director of the Department of Grassroots Culture, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism said: "The success of the competition in the traditional costume performance of 24 groups brought to the competition 52 traditional costumes of ethnic groups. The success of the competition had the appearance of many young faces, including children performing with the elderly artisans. This is a happy and encouraging thing for today's youth, who are passionate and love the intangible cultural heritage of the nation".

As a result, in the Traditional Rituals competition, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 Gold Medals to 8 units including: Quang Ngai, Bac Ninh, Dong Thap, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Son La, Phu Yen and Ninh Thuan. For the traditional costume competition, the first prize went to the Dien Bien Province Folk Artists Group. The first prize in the culinary competition went to the Hoa Binh Province Folk Artists Group. In addition, the Organizing Committee awarded 25 Gold Medals to 25 groups with excellent folk song and dance performances.
