On August 7, a source of Dan Tri confirmed that the police of Cu M'gar district (Dak Lak) had just arrested Mr. Bach Bien Hoa (Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan commune, Buon Ma Thuot city) for investigation due to his involvement in receiving money to "buy" a civil servant position.

The police agency read the arrest warrant for Mr. Hoa on the afternoon of August 6 at the headquarters of the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan commune.

According to the source, in early 2023, Mr. Hoa was asked by a friend (residing in Ea Kpam commune, Cu M'gar district) to "buy" a civil servant position for 250 million VND. Later, although he could not find a job for his friend, Mr. Hoa did not return the money, so this person reported him to the police.

"Up to now, Mr. Hoa has recovered the money, however, at the time he had not yet returned the money, he was reported to the police and was arrested to serve the investigation," the source revealed.

It is known that after the incident, the People's Committee of Hoa Xuan commune reported to the City Party Committee and the People's Committee of Buon Ma Thuot city to take the next steps in the case of the arrested commune leader.
