Mrs. Ly Thi Thap is a poor household in the locality. She has 6 children, but most of them are economically disadvantaged so they cannot help her much financially. Since her husband passed away 4 years ago due to illness, Mrs. Thap has lived alone in a seriously degraded house. Every day, to earn money to make ends meet, Mrs. Ly Thi Thap collects scrap metal and washes dishes for hire at local restaurants.

Through the connection and mobilization of Quang Ngai Newspaper, Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company supported 50 million VND for Ms. Thap to build a house. After 1 month of construction, Ms. Thap completed a spacious and solid house, with a total area of ​​about 40 square meters.

Speaking at the house handover ceremony, Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc congratulated Ms. Ly Thi Thap on having a new, more spacious and solid house. At the same time, he expressed his deep gratitude to the gesture of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company for accompanying Quang Ngai Newspaper in building houses for the poor. Editor-in-Chief of Quang Ngai Newspaper Nguyen Phu Duc also thanked the local government for accompanying and creating the best conditions for the construction of Ms. Thap's house to proceed on schedule and ensure quality.

At the handover ceremony, representatives of Quang Ngai Newspaper and local authorities presented gifts of household items to Ms. Ly Thi Thap, with the hope that she will soon stabilize her life.
