The tournament will take place from August 16 to 31 at Tao Dan artificial turf field. Thai Son Nam Joint Stock Company continues to accompany the tournament for 22 years.

The tournament brings together 13 teams from units and press agencies in Ho Chi Minh City, divided into 4 groups (1 group of 4 teams and 3 groups of 3 teams). The top 2 teams in each group will qualify for the semi-finals.

The tournament's drama is still the "no draw" format, the teams will take 5 penalty kicks to determine the winner. The winning team will get 2 points, the losing team will get 1 point.

The four semi-finalists will have the opportunity to win individual prizes after each match from sponsor Kamito. In addition, the players participating in the tournament will receive health care from the Life Up unit.

This year’s tournament saw the return of the VTV9 men’s football team. In addition, the VnExpress men’s football team received much attention when it registered to participate in the tournament for the first time. The most regrettable thing was probably the absence of the Thanh Nien newspaper team. Currently, HTV is the defending champion of the tournament.

This year, the organizers prepared two championship trophies in case the joint team of Ho Chi Minh City Law and Online Knowledge Magazine won the championship.

Group A has 4 teams, considered the "group of death" with the participation of championship candidates Social Life Reporters Club, VOH, VnExpress and SCTV.

Group B includes: FPT Play, Saigon Economic Magazine and Tuoi Tre Newspaper.

Group C includes: Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper; Joint forces of Ho Chi Minh City Law Newspaper - Zing News, Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper.

Group D includes: HTV, VTV and Nhan Dan Newspaper.
