Reviewing the glorious tradition of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, Mr. Phung Thai Quang, Vice President of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation, affirmed: "The Vietnamese Revolutionary Press was founded by President Ho Chi Minh, under the leadership of the Party, with the noble and sacred goal of serving the Fatherland and the people. After 99 years of establishment and development, the press has clearly demonstrated its role as a sharp weapon of the working class, the revolutionary flag, making important contributions to the cause of national liberation and unification in the past as well as in the cause of innovation, construction and protection of the Fatherland today."

During the period of 2018 - 2023, the Central and Ho Chi Minh City press agencies have produced works promoting various fields of activities of the Trade Union and the workers' and employees' movement. The works contribute to introducing, honoring and highlighting the role of the Trade Union in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers for the people of the city in particular and the whole country in general.

The press also promptly disseminated images and practical, effective work of the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union and suggested issues for the Ho Chi Minh City Trade Union to perform its function of representing, protecting the rights and caring for workers in the new situation.

"Through the articles, the activities of the City's Trade Union are clearly and authentically demonstrated, spreading the positive values ​​of the Trade Union organization and the trust of workers, contributing to making the whole society better understand and share with union members and workers, improving the quality of trade union activities, motivating and encouraging all levels of trade unions and workers to successfully complete the assigned tasks," Mr. Quang affirmed.

On this occasion, the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation honored 8 collectives and 27 outstanding individuals who have made many positive contributions to the movement of workers, civil servants, laborers and the activities of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Union.
