On August 5 and 6, the 9th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Binh Thuan province, term 2024 - 2029, was solemnly held with the participation of 285 official delegates. On the morning of August 6, the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hau Giang province, term 2024-2029, officially opened. Vice President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee To Thi Bich Chau attended and directed the congress.

After 2 days of urgent and serious work with the spirit of Solidarity - Democracy - Innovation - Development and high responsibility, at noon on August 6, the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hau Giang province, term 2024 - 2029, completed the contents and programs set out by the congress.

The Congress democratically elected 88 members of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee for the 2024-2029 term. Mr. Tran Van Chinh - Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hau Giang province for the 2019-2024 term continued to hold the position of Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province for the 2024-2029 term. On August 6, Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Nguyen Huu Dung chaired a meeting to give opinions on the content of the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province, term 2024-2029.
