Attending and chairing the Workshop were the leaders of the Bac Giang Provincial Ethnic Committee; representatives of the leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee, Son Dong District Police; leaders of the People's Committees of communes and towns and 63 prestigious people, representing 116 prestigious people among ethnic minorities in Son Dong district.

At the workshop, delegates actively exchanged, discussed and shared experiences, pointing out shortcomings and limitations in the implementation of policies for prestigious people in recent times.

Along with that, delegates proposed many practical solutions to continue effectively implementing policies for Prestigious People, promoting the role of Prestigious People in coordinating with Party committees and local authorities such as strengthening propaganda and mobilization work; training, fostering, and improving capacity for Prestigious People; organizing exchange activities and learning experiences for Prestigious People in localities.

The workshop also mentioned the need to build a close coordination mechanism between agencies, departments, branches, organizations and prestigious people, to ensure consistency and effectiveness in the policy implementation process.

After the Workshop, the Bac Giang Provincial Ethnic Committee coordinated with the Son Dong District Fatherland Front Committee to organize a Conference to provide information to prestigious people in the ethnic minority area of ​​Son Dong District in 2024.
