On August 2, the Department of Planning and Investment of Quang Binh province said that in the first 7 months of 2024, the unit had issued 329 new business registration certificates.

The Department further informed that with the above number of registration certificates, 5,270 billion VND is the registered capital; in which, in July alone, there were 54 enterprises with registered capital of 533 billion VND.

Notably, in July, the number of newly registered enterprises was equivalent to the same period in 2023, but the registered capital increased by more than 47%.

During the same period, the province had 29 dissolved enterprises, 317 enterprises temporarily suspended operations and 156 enterprises resumed operations.

Up to now, the total number of enterprises in the province is more than 8,830, with a registered capital of more than 117,640 billion VND. Assessing this situation, the Quang Binh Provincial Business Association said that although there are still many difficulties and challenges, local entrepreneurs and enterprises have made strong progress. This has contributed positively to the economic restructuring, accelerating the growth rate.

According to data from the Department of Planning and Investment, every year, enterprises contribute over 45% of GDP, over 60% of total budget revenue in the balance sheet, creating over 100,000 regular jobs and tens of thousands of seasonal jobs.
