This race is jointly organized by the Youth Union of Binh Duong Provincial Agencies, the Youth Union of Binh Duong Provincial Enterprises, Binh Duong 24H Media Company and related units.
The tournament attracted nearly 500 athletes from more than 100 units, agencies, businesses and people in Binh Duong province.
The tournament is divided into 3 categories (men, women and children). Athletes will have to conquer a 3km route around the lake of Binh Duong New City Central Park. The organizers have awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes to outstanding athletes in each category.
The special thing about this season is that the Organizing Committee does not charge any registration fee, instead, each athlete voluntarily contributes. All proceeds will be used to give gifts, scholarships, and health insurance to disadvantaged students with good academic performance in Binh Duong province.
At the program, the Organizing Committee announced the amount of money raised was 60 million VND and awarded 10 gifts and scholarships (each worth 2.3 million VND) to students who are children of workers working at VSIP II Industrial Park (Binh Duong).
Mr. Le Thanh Trung, Director of Binh Duong 24H Media Company shared: We will take advantage of social networking platforms to connect and coordinate activities to spread meaningful messages and beautiful images of programs that benefit the community.
Mr. Bien Tuan Vu, Secretary of the Youth Union of Binh Duong Province's agencies, said that this tournament not only creates opportunities for everyone to participate in sports activities but also contributes to social security work, bringing hope to disadvantaged students.
Mr. Vu affirmed: All the money received will be used to support students in difficult circumstances, contributing to building a united and warm community.
