FPT University is the first higher education institution to announce the admission scores for the 2024 regular university program based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.

Accordingly, the standard score for admission to the school is 21 points, rounded to 2 decimal places. This score includes the score in math and the 2 highest scores in the following subjects: literature, foreign language, physics, chemistry, biology, history, geography, civics, plus priority points according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET).

In addition, FPT University announced the recruitment of 1,000 students for the semiconductor design major and offered scholarships ranging from 50% for the first two semesters to 100% of the curriculum for all candidates.

At the same time, candidates who graduate from high school early and choose FPT University as one of their first three choices when registering for the first round of admission and have a combined score of 25 points or higher have the opportunity to win a scholarship worth 180 million VND.

Along with that, 2 colleges have also announced admission scores based on the 2024 high school graduation exam scores. Notably, some majors require up to 21 points.

Cao Thang Technical College announced the highest converted standard score on a 30-point scale for the automotive engineering technology major with 21 points (30-point scale), equivalent to 28 points (math coefficient 2). This score increased by 0.75 points compared to 2023.

The lowest level to enter this school is computer accounting (business accounting) with a standard score of 12 points on a scale of 30.

The Foreign Economic College at the main campus in Ho Chi Minh City has a benchmark score of 16-17 points for the general program. The benchmark score for the high-quality program is 15 points. At the Can Tho campus, the benchmark score for all majors is 15 points.

In addition, some universities also announced expected admission scores. Quang Trung University's Admissions Council announced the expected admission scores for 13 undergraduate training programs in 2024. Accordingly, nursing has the highest admission score of 19, while the remaining programs have 15 points.

Gia Dinh University has increased the expected admission score based on high school graduation exam scores by 0.5-0.75 points in some majors.

Of which, English language major is expected to take 16.5 points; information technology 16.25 points. Logistics and supply chain management, public relations majors take 16 points. The remaining majors take 15-15.75 points.

According to the plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the virtual filtering process will take place from August 13 to 5:00 p.m. on August 17. Thus, from August 17, schools can announce the admission results to candidates.

By 5:00 p.m. on August 19 at the latest, universities and colleges must complete the announcement of benchmark scores and first round of admission results.
