250,000 visitors attend Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival

During the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025, Dak Lak province attracted about 250,000 tourists, including 1,800 international tourists.

On the evening of March 13, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province held the closing ceremony of the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival in 2025.

Attending the event were Mr. Y Thanh Ha Nie Kdam, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, representatives of ministries, branches, provinces; businesses, diplomatic corps, international guests, officials and people of Dak Lak province.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thien Van, Vice Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee, said that at the 50th anniversary of Buon Ma Thuot Victory and the 9th Buon Ma Thuot Coffee Festival , Dak Lak province welcomed 28 delegations with 188 international guests.

Specifically, the activities attracted many coffee import-export enterprises, experts, domestic and foreign tourists to attend, such as: The specialized exhibition fair for coffee and OCOP products attracted the participation of 180 units with 435 booths, including 12 booths of 6 foreign enterprises; a total of 175,000 visitors to the fair (an average of 35,000 visitors/day).

The International Trade Conference - Connecting and Elevating Vietnamese Coffee attracted 730 delegates to discuss, find opportunities and solutions to develop sustainable coffee, and increase the value of Vietnamese coffee.

The Farmers Competition with the participation of 7 provinces and cities proved the spread of the festival to other provinces; The Coffee Camp held at the historical and cultural relic CADA Plantation, the birthplace of the first plantation party cell in the province, attracted 16 teams and more than 20,000 visitors.

The Vietnam Specialty Coffee Roasting Competition 2025 is a gathering place for coffee lovers, enthusiasts, and enthusiasts to share knowledge and experience with the participation of 36 excellent coffee roasters from 13 provinces and cities across the country.

Accordingly, the free coffee festival was enthusiastically responded by people and businesses with 430 coffee shops registering to serve free coffee. The contest to create digital content to promote the festival on cyberspace received 51 entries from authors and groups of authors inside and outside the province, selecting 19 excellent works to award prizes. The festival attracted about 250,000 visitors, including 1,800 international visitors to the province.
