(VTC News) - With a near-perfect GPA of 3.98/4.0, Nguyen Dinh Nguyen Khoi became the valedictorian of the High-Quality Auditing major at the National Economics University.
Nguyen Dinh Nguyen Khoi (born in 2002 in Ninh Binh), a student majoring in High-Quality Auditing, has just graduated as valedictorian of the Institute of Advanced, High-Quality Training and POHE, National Economics University with a GPA of 3.98/4.0. In the last three semesters, Nguyen Khoi has achieved a perfect GPA of 4.0/4.0. During the graduation internship thesis defense, the male student achieved a score beyond the expectations of the judging panel with 9.8/10. In addition, the 10X also has an IELTS score of 7.5. Despite his high achievements, Nguyen Khoi always believes that the title of valedictorian is a recognition of his academic results over the past four years, not something exceptional.

Born into a well-educated family in the ancient capital of Ninh Binh, from a young age Nguyen Khoi was always aware of the importance of studying and training himself to have a serious learning attitude. With an independent personality, high pressure tolerance and the ability to work with numbers, after graduating from high school, the male student chose to study Auditing. According to 10X, this is a major that is considered difficult with a large amount of knowledge, but on the contrary, it will help students develop in many different fields, opening up many career opportunities. Entering the university, the male student from Ninh Binh never set a goal for the position of valedictorian. In his third year of university, by chance, when his homeroom teacher sent him his entire course's transcript, Nguyen Khoi suddenly discovered that his score was at the highest position. "Looking at the transcript, I see that if I try to maintain this achievement in the future, the possibility of achieving the position of valedictorian is very high. From then on, I started thinking about this title by striving and maintaining my academic performance,” Nguyen Khoi recalled. Sharing about his learning method, 10X summed it up in two words: “diligence”. Nguyen Khoi said that he first of all had to have a really serious attitude, prioritizing studying. In any subject, the male student kept the habit of taking full notes. After each class, Nguyen Khoi continued to search for more related documents online to do his homework. To achieve good results in each subject, Nguyen Khoi believes that students must always make every effort, whether it is attendance, midterm or final. Therefore, in each class, when teachers call for correction, the male student will proactively volunteer to answer in order to improve his score. In addition, 10X also proactively builds relationships, connects with seniors to ask for documents and study experiences. Thanks to that, Nguyen Khoi has received a scholarship to encourage learning from the National Economics University in all semesters.

In addition to studying, the Ninh Binh male student always actively participates in school activities, and was admitted to the Party right from his high school years at Luong Van Tuy High School for the Gifted (Ninh Binh). In his first year of university, the 10X was elected Secretary of the Youth Union. In his third year, the male student took on the position of Secretary of the Student Party Cell, then a member of the Standing Committee of the School's Youth Union. "Joining the Youth Union and Association has helped me gain many valuable experiences. From here, I have developed leadership skills through organizing events, managing groups and coordinating activities," the male student expressed. Although he held many roles at the same time, with his constant efforts, at the end of his fourth year of university, Nguyen Khoi passed the rigorous exams and won an internship at Deloitte - one of the four largest international auditing firms in the world. For the first time in practice, the 10X was "shocked" when faced with a huge amount of work, with a lot of knowledge very different from when studying. To catch up and get used to it, the male student asked for audit documents from previous years to study and asked someone to guide him through the parts he didn't understand. For Nguyen Khoi, the pressure helped him mature faster. "The internship helped me understand what it was like to work under high pressure and had the opportunity to apply the knowledge I learned in practice," the male student said.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Anh, lecturer of the Institute of Accounting and Auditing, assessed that the valedictorian result was completely worthy of Nguyen Khoi's tireless efforts. "Nguyen Khoi is a good, intelligent and hard-working student. Although he regularly participates in the activities of the Youth Union, he still maintains his academic performance. I am very proud to have such a student," Ms. Mai Anh said and believed that the student will definitely succeed in the future. After graduating, the new valedictorian of the National Economics University plans to work and complete the application for a master's scholarship as soon as possible. Regarding the long-term plan, as a person who grew up from the Youth Union as well as a Party member, Nguyen Khoi expressed his desire to work in the system of state agencies and socio-political organizations to be able to contribute more to the Fatherland.
