During the investigation, District 1 Police (HCMC) worked directly with the HCMC Green Tree Park Company Limited to clearly determine the responsibilities of organizations and individuals related to the incident of a fallen tree that injured and killed 5 people in Tao Dan Park.

Regarding the case of "Broken tree branch in Tao Dan park, at least 2 people died" as reported by Saigon Giai Phong Newspaper, on August 11, Ho Chi Minh City Police provided more information about the incident.

Specifically, District 1 Police worked directly with Ho Chi Minh City Green Parks Company Limited to clearly determine the responsibilities of organizations and individuals related to the incident of broken and fallen trees causing damage to people's lives and health.

Earlier, on the morning of August 9, District 1 Police received a report that 5 people were hit by a broken tree branch while exercising in Tao Dan Park (Ben Thanh Ward, District 1).

At the scene, police recorded 2 victims died on the spot and 3 other victims were taken to the hospital for emergency treatment. District 1 police immediately deployed crime scene investigation, autopsy, and collected statements from people who knew about the incident...

After completing the required procedures, the District Police handed over the two deceased victims to their families for burial according to local customs.

The case is currently being investigated by District 1 Police to clarify the cause and responsibility of the organization and individuals responsible for the tragic incident.
