Exactly 50 years ago, on April 30, 1975, the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign ended in victory, the country was reunited, and Vietnam was unified from North to South. That great victory was not only the crystallization of passionate patriotism but also the result of invaluable sacrifices. Inheriting and promoting the precious traditions of previous generations, together with the entire political system and the entire people of Soc Trang province, the youth in the province have made great contributions to the development of the province. Specifically, political and ideological education work has been creatively and effectively implemented by the Youth Union at all levels, legal education work, traditions, and initiatives on cyberspace have spread many positive messages and values. At the same time, the Youth Union at all levels has carried out many youth projects and tasks, implemented many activities to support young people, students, and students in starting businesses, establishing careers, caring for and educating teenagers and children.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Trieu Thi Ngoc Diem - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union emphasized that today's candle lighting ceremony is a sacred promise of the youth to the previous generation. The youth of the whole province vows to continue the revolutionary tradition, constantly train themselves, study, work and be creative, contributing to building the homeland of Soc Trang to become more and more developed, civilized and beautiful.
