From the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses implemented by the province, through screening, Ke Sach district has 1,991 households in need of support to build new and repair houses, of which 157 are meritorious households; 1,656 are poor and near-poor households and 176 are ethnic minority households. To effectively implement the construction of houses for households belonging to the program's subjects, Ke Sach district has divided it into 3 phases. Specifically, phase 1 from the end of December 2024 to the end of January 2025, during this phase, the district has completed the construction of 380 houses for the subjects according to plan, before the Lunar New Year 2025 so that households can enjoy the spring and welcome Tet. Phase 2, from February 15, 2025 to April 30, 2025, will complete the construction and repair of 1,000 new houses and phase 3, from May 1, 2025 to July 27, 2025, will complete the construction and repair of 611 new houses. Up to now, the district has completed the construction and repair of new houses for the subjects in the program in phase 2, with the number of houses being 1,118, exceeding the plan by 118 houses and the district is continuing to implement the program in phase 3, with the determination to speed up the progress of construction and repair of new houses for households earlier than the plan set by the district.

Excitedly standing next to the new house invested in by the district from the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, Ms. Thach Hien, Ke Thanh commune, Ke Sach district shared: "My family has many children, no land for production, so running around for rice every meal to feed and clothe the children is too much, and as for accommodation, the whole family has only built a small temporary hut to shelter from the rain and sun. The small hut in heavy rain is no different from being outdoors, so my biggest dream is to have a new house and that has come true, when the district supported the construction of a new house. Currently, the house is almost completed and put into use, my whole family is very happy. Through this, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Party, the State, and all levels of government for caring about and helping poor households like us to have a new house to live in. When we have a stable place to live, our family will try to work hard and strive to escape poverty sustainably."

Comrade Tran Minh Thu - Standing Deputy Secretary of Ke Sach District Party Committee said that, in the spirit of determination to successfully implement the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses before the set plan in the district, before June 30, 2025, the district has directed district-level units, communes and towns to step up mobilizing organizations, businesses, philanthropists inside and outside the district, and people from all walks of life to participate in supporting the implementation of the program. Review data on meritorious people, poor households, near-poor households, and ethnic minority households with housing difficulties in the district to allocate funds for implementation; mobilize and call on organizations, businesses and people inside and outside the district to support resources for the implementation of the program.

Promote propaganda on the radio system at all levels and the district's electronic information portal to spread good and effective practices and good examples in implementing the program. Widely deploy the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses to cadres, party members, union members, association members, people of all walks of life, and the business community... to promote the combined strength of the entire political system, the consensus and solidarity of the whole society in implementing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district according to the set plan.
