Many large projects are expected to contribute to the socio-economic development of Da Nang, creating a highlight for the central urban area, however, so far they remain unfinished.
Notable projects include the cluster of 3 projects Golden Square, Vien Dong Meridian, Da Nang Center in the central area of Hai Chau district. Currently, 2 out of 3 projects mentioned above are still vacant land, without drainage system, so forming large rainwater reservoirs.

Regarding this issue, the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang said that for the project at land plot No. 8 Phan Chau Trinh Street (Da Nang Center project, Hai Chau district) of Vu Chau Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company, the investor has sent an official dispatch proposing a solution for the project.
In which the enterprise agrees and requests to be compensated in cash or exchanged for land use rights at another land plot of equivalent value in case the city reclaims the project land.
In case the city cancels the project land acquisition, the enterprise currently does not have enough financial capacity to continue implementing the project and hopes the city will support in finding an investor to transfer the project.

The Department sent a dispatch to the Da Nang People's Committee immediately afterwards and Mr. Le Trung Chinh, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, made a conclusion. Mr. Chinh directed the Department of Planning and Investment to study and handle the petition of Vu Chau Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company stating that it did not have enough financial capacity to continue implementing the project and requested the city to support finding interested investors to introduce to the company to transfer the project.
In addition, the Department continues to coordinate with relevant agencies to work and agree with the company on the spirit that the city will adjust the planning appropriately so that the company can continue to implement the project.
On April 22, the Department sent an official dispatch to Vu Chau Long Real Estate Joint Stock Company and the Investment Promotion and Support Board to seek new partners to participate in the project in order to soon put the project into construction investment implementation.

For the Golden Square project (Hai Chau district) of Dong A Real Estate Joint Stock Company, the first investment certificate was granted in 2008.
Based on the company's request to terminate the project on December 15, 2022, the Department of Planning and Investment of Da Nang issued a notice to terminate the project. The company is carrying out procedures to transfer land use rights and assets attached to the land.
The project at 84 Hung Vuong (Vien Dong Meridian project, Hai Chau district) of Vien Dong Vietnam Real Estate Joint Stock Company was granted an investment certificate in 2007.
In 2019, the People's Committee of Da Nang City announced the termination of the project. The land has transferred land use rights and assets on the land to Kinh Bac Da Nang One Member Co., Ltd. (new investor).
The investor is carrying out planning adjustment procedures to ensure compliance with planning levels and land use purposes to implement construction according to regulations.
