Every year, FPT employees look forward to March 13 with a new feeling. This year's FPT for Community Day was launched with the theme "Sowing millions of smiles" and was held at FPT Tan Thuan 2 Building and F-Town 3, Thu Duc City with activities such as humanitarian blood donation, vaccine fundraising program from FPT Long Chau, music fundraising program from FPT Software, launching the Happy Run 2024 race and calling for donations of one day's salary to the FPT People for the Community Fund,...

FPT employees and leaders participate in the kick-off of the Happy Run 2024 - Spread Your Wings and Soar

In which, humanitarian blood donation and donating one day's salary to the FPT People for the Community Fund are programs that have been running throughout the years, demonstrating the spirit of "mutual love" of FPT staff and employees towards the community and gradually becoming a beautiful feature in FPT's corporate culture. From 2014 to now, nearly 25,000 units of blood have been donated to treat and save patients. In addition, FPT Corporation's employees have participated in the one day's salary program, directly contributing more than 80.5 billion VND to the FPT People for the Community Fund. The FPT People for the Community Fund was established in 2014, aiming to support FPT staff and their relatives when facing difficulties and serious illnesses, implementing community support activities, encouraging educational development and on the principle of mobilizing a large number of FPT staff to directly participate.

Sharing at the event, Ms. Truong Thanh Thanh - member of FPT Founding Council - Director of FPT Social Responsibility expressed: “FPT's Community Day on March 13 has become a festival, a characteristic of FPT's corporate culture. After more than 35 years of development, FPT continues to pursue the mission of Creating Happiness. For FPT, happiness is not the success of an individual, a group or a company, but happiness is when we share that success and benefit to give to society, bringing smiles and hope to those in difficult circumstances.”

FPT Community Day - meaningful annual activity of FPT

Since 2010, FPT has chosen March 13 as "FPT Day for the Community" for each officer and employee to participate in making a small contribution to society through specific actions. Up to now, the Group has spent more than 1,000 billion VND on social responsibility activities, focusing mainly on education support programs such as sponsoring scholarships and encouraging the development of young talents, excellent students who overcome difficulties; building bridges, repairing schools, donating school supplies and daily necessities to teachers and students of schools in difficult areas...

Constantly striving with a sincere and enthusiastic heart, FPT perseveres on the journey of bringing happiness to the community.

FPT has always been persistent in implementing sustainable development activities with the orientation that people are the key factor. Therefore, FPT always focuses on investing in human resource development as well as activities to support education and the young generation. Some outstanding activities in 2023 of FPT Corporation include continuing to "incubate hope" for children who are unfortunately orphaned by Covid 19 at Hy Vong School. The children are trained to develop their talents in many fields and have won many medals in robotics, music, sports competitions... In addition, with the goal of connecting kind hearts and raising charity funds, FPT organized the Happy Run - Happy Footprints for the first time on a global scale, attracting 191,000 participants, donating 3.6 billion VND to build facilities for schools in difficult areas, keeping children in class. FPT and the Hope Foundation also completed the construction of 350 bridges in the Mekong Delta, helping to ensure children's safety when going to school, connecting both sides of the river between communes and hamlets, facilitating people's travel and transporting goods easily. With this milestone, FPT Corporation and the Hope Foundation are the enterprises and organizations that have contributed and called for the construction of the most bridges in Vietnam from 2018 to present. Continuing and spreading the spirit of love, in the coming time, FPT will continue to organize charity and social programs nationwide.
