* Dear comrade, Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee organized the first Mekong Forum on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation with the theme: "Television and Cultural Industry". Could you please tell us the purpose and significance of this forum?

- Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Trang: The first Mekong Forum on Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation with the theme: "Television and Cultural Industry" held in Vinh Long aims to create a space for open dialogue of ideas and meanings for management leaders, experts, scientists, entrepreneurs, enterprises and related units to exchange ideas, share experiences in analyzing impacts, propose solutions to promote the application of digital technology in content production and distribution, improve television quality, expand markets, seek sustainable business models and effectively exploit digital platforms to create new sources of revenue, contributing to digital economic growth.

At the same time, the forum is also a useful means to create connections, orient development and launch breakthrough initiatives in the field of science and technology - digital transformation, contributing to the implementation of the goals of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthrough development of science and technology - digital transformation - national digital transformation in Vinh Long province according to the content of Program No. 69-CTr/TU, dated February 18, 2025 of the Standing Committee of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee.

This is a very important and meaningful event, directed by the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, and directly by the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee with a spirit of urgency and determination. The forum took place in the heroic atmosphere of the historic April days, practically towards the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South, National Reunification, and Liberation of Vinh Long Province (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The event marked a new turning point, with the high determination and great efforts of the provincial leaders, the Party Committee and the people of Vinh Long province in innovation and creativity, clearly shaping the path of development of science and technology - innovation - digital transformation in general as well as the field of television and cultural industry of Vinh Long province in particular in the coming time.

In addition, it will create strong motivation, inspiration and resources for innovation and creativity in other fields, which is an important foundation, decisive in realizing the goal by 2030: "Vinh Long is a high-tech, ecological agricultural province; one of the agricultural economic centers of the Mekong Delta region; has a synchronous and modern infrastructure system" and the vision by 2050 "is a province with comprehensive, civilized, modern, ecological, sustainable development, with a fairly high level of development compared to the whole country", determined with the entire political system and the people to bring the country into an era of prosperous development.

* This is one of the key tasks of Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee to organize the implementation of Resolution No. 57 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in developing national science and technology - innovation - digital transformation. What do you hope to achieve through the forum?

- Comrade Nguyen Thi Minh Trang: Under the strong leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, from the perspective of the core advisory sector, I hope that this forum will be a breakthrough tool, launching innovative initiatives, ensuring the implementation of important goals set out for Vinh Long to make a breakthrough in developing science and technology - digital transformation, truly becoming a solid bridge between Vinh Long and the provinces of the Mekong Delta and the whole country, so that Vinh Long is a place where ideas and initiatives converge, a space for localities, businesses, experts and policy makers to discuss and propose practical solutions to promote sustainable development for the whole region.

At the same time, I expect the positive results and effects from the forum will continue to convey and spread the message of the leaders of Vinh Long province to scientists and investors about the desire for long-term and continuous research and investment cooperation, accompanying the government and people of Vinh Long province in developing science and technology - innovation - digital transformation, contributing to bringing Vinh Long province in particular and the whole country in general into the digital age in a timely and effective manner in the trend of integration and sustainable development.
