The rehearsal program for the 10,500 drones performance took place from 8:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. on April 28 at the Saigon River. However, from around 4 p.m., when the sun was less hot, people flocked to Nguyen Hue walking street (District 1) early to have fun before watching the drones perform.
Among thousands of people, the image of white-haired grandmothers nearly 90 years old being taken out by their children and grandchildren moved many people. In addition, three-generation families also went for a walk early, taking many souvenir photos in the joyful atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

As April 30 approaches, many children choose to take their parents to city events instead of going with friends. "Taking my mother along makes me feel very special. On occasions like this, seeing my mother just stay at home watching TV makes me unable to feel the atmosphere of the people in the city before the big day," said Thanh Thuy (25 years old).
