Ingredient:
- Squid
- Crispy fried flour
- Cheese
- Cooking oil, ginger, tomato sauce, salt.
Making:
- Use a knife to remove the inside of the fresh squid, then rub it with a little salt and wash it thoroughly with water, and drain. Cut off the squid tentacles and slice the squid body into bite-sized pieces.
- Put the pot of water on the stove, add the ginger and when the water boils, add the squid and blanch for about 1 minute. Remove the squid to a plate and drain.
- Take a small pot or saucepan, fill it with oil. Roll the squid in the fried flour, the flour covers the entire piece of squid and put it in the pot of boiling oil. When the flour covers the squid, this will prevent oil from splashing when frying. When the squid is golden brown and crispy, remove it and drain the oil.
- Put the fried squid on a banana leaf-lined tray, then add the cheese powder and toss well so that the squid is evenly coated with a layer of cheese powder on the outside.
Fried squid with cheese can be dipped with chili sauce or tomato sauce.
