On the afternoon of March 16, the announcement ceremony of Global Student Fashion Week 2025 (GSFW) took place at the Hanoi Museum. The program will take place from December 4-9, 2025 under the auspices of the Department of International Cooperation (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) and the Vietnam Record Association.
At GSFW 2025, each young designer brings collections with a strong personal touch, reflecting the fresh creative thinking and pioneering perspective on fashion of Generation Z.
With the theme of Sustainable Fashion, the performances not only demonstrate skillful design techniques, but also convey strong messages about environmental responsibility, recycling culture and the application of technology in modern fashion.
The event marks an important turning point in the field of fashion training, aiming to connect students with the fashion industry and the international labor market. The event is expected to become a revolution in the field of student fashion.
GSFW Founder and Chairman Le Tran Dac Ngoc said that GSFW is expected to gather 150 designers from 30 training schools, 999 beauty queens and kings from all over the world, 900 dancers and more than 6,000 honored guests.
"The breakthrough of GSFW 2025 is to completely eliminate the distinction of positions on the catwalk, there is no first face or vedette, all models are honored equally. This demonstrates the spirit of innovation, breaking old standards and opening up a truly creative playground", Mr. Le Tran Dac Ngoc affirmed.
Within the framework of Global Student Fashion Week, the scholarship fund “GSFW - Lighting up talent” was launched, exclusively for fashion design students, opening up opportunities to study, develop and conquer the international market.
During the show, several collections of designers were presented. The designs were developed based on creative shapes, using recycled materials from old clothes, which are sustainable and can be reused many times.
The remaining, unused pieces of fabric in the workshop are transformed into evening gowns, street dresses...
