★ Australian Prime Minister (leader of the ruling Labor Party) Anthony Albanese congratulated Comrade To Lam on being elected General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam; affirmed that Australia and Vietnam are steadfast friends, the relationship between the two countries is based on the strong relationship between the two peoples and strategic political trust.
