Lost in a corner of Europe in the land of churches, Nam Dinh

Known as the land of churches, Nam Dinh is a province with many famous Catholic buildings with bold European architecture, attracting tourists to visit.
Located in Xuan Tien commune (Xuan Truong district, Nam Dinh province), Kien Lao temple has a massive scale and sophisticated architecture, famous in Nam Dinh province. Kien Lao Shrine was built according to the model of Our Lady of Bui Chu Church, with a length of 75m, width of 26m, height of 28m and a bell tower of 46m. Phu Nhai Basilica is one of the most beautiful churches in Thanh Nam, with its mysterious features and ancient, majestic European architecture. The Phu Nhai Minor Basilica has undergone many changes in appearance but still retains the sophistication of Gothic architecture. The basilica is 80m long, 27m wide, 30m high, with two 44m high towers. One of the largest and most beautiful Catholic architectural works in Nam Dinh is Hung Nghia church in Hai Hung commune, Hai Hau district. With its dominant gray color and majestic architecture, Hung Nghia Church makes many tourists feel like they are "lost in the West" when they set foot here. Attracting tourists with its eye-catching blue color, Xuan Minh parish church located in Hai Xuan commune (Hai Hau district) has a unique European style. Xuan Minh parish church was built in 1936, on a total area of about 3,600m2. The church is 40m long and 12m wide. Mr. Pham Van Nam (Xuan Minh parish, Hai Xuan commune) said: "After being renovated, Xuan Minh parish church has become a destination for sightseeing and photography for many tourists from inside and outside the province". Today, the old Catholic churches in Nam Dinh all have the beauty of time, leaving their own mark on visitors when visiting and experiencing.
