Every Sunday afternoon, the Youth Union of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team of Thua Thien Hue Provincial Police regularly organizes for primary school students in Hue City. They are instructed on fire fighting and escape, introduced to fire prevention and fighting means, and specialized fire fighting equipment. They also experience practical skills such as: overcoming obstacles, using portable fire extinguishers, fire hoses of mobile vehicles, and escaping by ladder truck. Through the program, the aim is to educate students on the basics of fire prevention and rescue.
Vietnam.vn would like to introduce the photo collection "I experience being a firefighter" by author Dang Van Tran, recording the experience of primary school students in Hue city. The photo collection was sent by the author to participate in the Photo and Video Contest "Happy Vietnam", organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications.

At the program, the students were taught knowledge related to fire and explosion and how to handle incidents by officers and soldiers who are youth union members of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department. To bring the program into real life, the students also practiced escape skills, emergency escape and self-defense when bad situations occur.

Typical skills include: Moving to escape in an environment with toxic gas; Rescuing people with a ladder truck; How to identify and use a fire extinguisher; Using a fire extinguisher to extinguish a fire in a gasoline tray or gas tank; Experiencing the operation of a fire truck...

Through the experience, not only does it create a fun and useful playground, but it also helps children gain more basic knowledge and skills to protect themselves from fire and explosion incidents.
