On April 26, Tuoi Tre Online noted that in the city centers of Phu Quoc and especially Duong Dong - Cua Can - Ganh Dau streets, the locality brightly decorated red flags with yellow stars and flags to celebrate the 50th anniversary of national reunification.

On the occasion of April 30 and May 1, tourist attractions, restaurants, hotels and famous entertainment spots such as VinWonders Phu Quoc theme park, Grand World Phu Quoc area... have been brightly decorated with red flags with yellow stars. Domestic and foreign tourists love to take photos as souvenirs.

Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Chinh - a tourist from Dong Nai - said that today she and her family came to Phu Quoc to have fun before the April 30 and May 1 holidays. When she arrived, she was very surprised and felt the bustling atmosphere, full of national pride when the entertainment spots were decorated with bright red national flags.

"Phu Quoc surprised and overwhelmed me with its entertainment spots. There were so many visitors here. Especially the bright red Vietnamese flag fluttering in the wind. The scene was so beautiful and wonderful, I took the opportunity to use my phone to record and take souvenir photos with my family," said Ms. Norsiah - a Malaysian tourist.

Previously, Mr. Bui Quoc Thai - Director of Kien Giang Department of Tourism - informed that on the occasion of April 30 and May 1, the locality sent an official dispatch and encouraged Phu Quoc tourism businesses to organize many fun and entertainment events.

Tourism businesses need to ensure staff arrangements to serve tourists well; entertainment spots in coastal areas must have guides to keep tourists safe.
