Many Sabeco breweries are installed with rooftop solar power systems, helping to save 25 million kWh of electricity, equivalent to 18,000 tons of CO2 reduced each year.

Joining PRO Vietnam is considered a new step for Sabeco in its journey to promote its sustainable development strategy. Previously, Sabeco has been implementing many comprehensive and effective ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) initiatives.

By the end of 2023, Sabeco had 11 factories installing and putting into use rooftop solar power. The company has also increased the use of biomass fuel from plants (rice husks, sawdust, cashew shells and leaves) instead of fossil fuel boilers to optimize fuel.
