Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu speaks at the Ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the State Bank of Vietnam Branch in Region 10.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Department of Organization and Personnel (SBV) announced the Decision to establish SBV Branch Region 10, with functions and tasks according to the provisions of law and SBV.

The State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10, has the function of advising the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam in performing state management of currency, banking and foreign exchange activities in localities and performing a number of central banking operations under the authorization of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Deputy Governor presents Decision to Deputy Directors of State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10 Branch

Previously, on February 24, 2025, the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam signed a decision to appoint Mr. Bui Huy Tho and Deputy Directors as Director of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10 branch.

At the Ceremony to announce the Decision to establish the State Bank of Vietnam Branch in Region 10, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu, on behalf of the State Bank of Vietnam leaders, presented the decisions of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on the transfer and appointment of Deputy Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch in Region 10 and Department Heads.

Permanent Deputy Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Dao Minh Tu and delegates presented flowers to congratulate the launch of the Board of Directors of the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10 Branch.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu said that Region 10 (under the operation and management area of ​​the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 10 branch) includes 5 provinces: Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan, belonging to the South Central Coast region - a land rich in potential, blessed by nature with a long coastline, rich resources, favorable for the development of marine economy, industry and tourism. However, besides the advantages, the region also faces many challenges due to the impact of natural disasters such as storms, floods, droughts, affecting the lives and production of the people.

According to Permanent Deputy Governor Dao Minh Tu, the immediate task is very heavy, the establishment of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch in Region 10 and the appointment of staff are to meet the needs of management and operation of monetary policy in the locality. The leadership of the State Bank of Vietnam Branch in Region 10 needs to continue to make efforts, unite, and successfully carry out the tasks assigned by the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.
