Since its broadcast on Vietnam Television in 2014, the program "Kindness" has recorded more than 2,500 stories about people silently doing good deeds. Thousands of small, simple stories have been conveyed to the audience by "Kindness" with many colors, reality, and vividness, spreading beautiful actions and kindness to the community. Not only recording and retelling meaningful stories of giving, creating a bridge between the giver and the receiver, but what is even more valuable is that over the past 10 years, "Kindness" has also spread the message of life, faith in love, and humanity to millions of Vietnamese people.

With its influence, the program "Kindness" has inspired more and more noble acts in society across the country, spreading love through simple, rustic stories full of humanity, guiding people to have a more positive and optimistic outlook on life.

The role models honored are of many ages, from many regions, fields and circumstances. At the meeting, many typical examples with good deeds spoke and shared their touching stories such as Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khang, Chairman of the Board of Marie Curie School (Hanoi), who is not only devoted to the cause of education, but is also an inspiring example of kindness.

Currently, Mr. Khang is taking care of 23 orphans in Lang Nu (after storm No. 3 Yagi in 2024). Or like the couple Nguyen Thi Hong opened a shelter to take care of 102 lonely, sick, homeless elderly people; war invalid Nguyen Trung Chat, founder of the Hope Center, has adopted and cared for 305 orphans in 3 shelters in Lang Son and Hung Yen, or like singer Nguyen Thi Hoa (Hoa Minzy), who actively participates in charity work and adopts many orphans and homeless children.

They are also teachers who devote their whole lives to bringing knowledge to homeless and disadvantaged children in remote areas; those who actively participate in community programs for the poor, voluntarily support and donate to charity programs... They are also shining examples, bravely helping people in distress; they are young people full of enthusiasm, devoted to the desire to build a better society.

Speaking at the meeting, the President expressed his joy at meeting the typical figures of "Kindness", people who, with kindness, sharing and a warm heart, have contributed to making life more beautiful, meaningful and worth living.

Touched to see that each person, regardless of position, big or small, is trying their best to contribute and build Vietnam into a more civilized and prosperous homeland, the President affirmed that the 100 typical faces present today are very beautiful and real "Flowers", "fairy tales in everyday life". Uncles, aunts, brothers, sisters and children have brought their feelings and loving actions to the less fortunate, sharing and cherishing them with their hands of love.

As an audience member, the President said he had watched the program "Kindness" of Vietnam Television many times; at the same time, he expressed his impression of seeing the attention of the people, especially young people, to the news spreading love, the beautiful actions that our people show to each other, which is no less than the hottest news on social networking platforms today.

The President affirmed that all the people and stories in the program are positive catalysts, stirring up empathy and love in each of us; at the same time, he believed that in each person there is compassion and caring for fellow human beings, and the typical faces and actions in the program have contributed to multiplying good things to spread widely and develop much more effectively.

Pointing out that taking care of those with merit, the poor, the disabled, and the disadvantaged in society, and not leaving anyone behind, is the consistent policy of the Party and State. The President emphasized that, along with the care and concern of the Party and State, the cooperation of kind-hearted people and the support and assistance of "Kindness" figures are very important, because they are the ones closest to the most difficult circumstances, and their help is also very friendly and sincere.

The President said that it is necessary to further expand the models of sharing and helping those around us, and to expand the number of individuals and groups working for the community because we all need more hearts and minds like the 100 shining examples today, creating positive energy sources and spreading love throughout society.

Emphasizing that our country is striving to basically cover all people in social security activities by 2030, the President said that in the coming time, the State will perfect institutions and laws, especially social work, and can promote and develop the "social work profession" so that social work can be developed more, more widely, and take better care of the people.

The President also suggested finding ways to continue the journey of kind people because many of the characters in the program are old, some are still sick and need the next generation, young people who do kind work.

The President requested that Vietnam Television coordinate with the Standing Committee and functional agencies of the Central Emulation and Reward Council and localities to actively introduce typical examples of good people, good deeds, and exemplary acts of kindness, so that the noble actions of typical examples spread widely and are multiplied more and more throughout society, as beloved Uncle Ho taught, "a living example is worth more than a hundred propaganda speeches", contributing to using beauty to eliminate ugliness, using goodness to repel evil, urging the community to act together, creating an increasingly better, more humane, and more humane society.

The President believes that when examples of good people and good deeds are spread throughout society, it will inspire the community to take action, contributing to building a beautiful, civilized, and happy Vietnam.
