Over the past 4 seasons, nearly 180,000 athletes have participated in the program. From a total running record of nearly 10 million km, BIDV has converted it into a budget of more than 40 billion VND to implement meaningful social security activities: building and presenting 13 community cultural houses to avoid floods to localities suffering from natural disasters in the Central region, planting 600,000 new trees nationwide, presenting more than 15,000 freshwater tanks to drought-stricken provinces in the Mekong Delta.

In 2025, the program "BIDV RUN - For a Green Life" will be held for 22 days, from April 20 to May 11, 2025. This is a meaningful program to celebrate major holidays of the country, the banking industry and BIDV: the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025); the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); the 74th anniversary of the establishment of the Bank of Vietnam (May 6, 1951 - May 6, 2025); 68th anniversary of BIDV's founding (April 26, 1957 - April 26, 2025)...

Speaking at the Launching Ceremony held at BIDV Headquarters (Hanoi), Ms. Vu Thi Nga - Permanent Vice President of BIDV Trade Union - said: “BIDV is very pleased that the program “BIDV RUN - For a Green Life” has entered its 5th season with strong influence and received positive response from a large number of staff, employees, partners, customers and the community. The program is a vivid symbol of the spirit of green living, healthy living, living responsibly towards society and the environment. Through its activities, each participating individual will contribute to the journey of joining hands to create meaningful sustainable values. “BIDV RUN - For a Green Life” is also a vivid demonstration of BIDV's persistent commitment and profound social responsibility: constantly striving for the sustainable development of the country, for a green future and for the happiness of every citizen”.

Mr. Thanh Tam, an office worker in Hanoi, shared: "My daily work is mainly related to computers and meetings. Therefore, when I learned that the bank organized the program "BIDV RUN - For a Green Life", I felt that this was a great opportunity for me to both exercise and contribute to meaningful activities for the community and the environment. What impressed me most was that each kilometer run brought a specific value: green trees, flood-proof roofs, fresh water tanks for people... That made me feel that my runs became more meaningful. On the morning of April 20, 2025, about 21,000 athletes nationwide and from a number of countries and territories simultaneously took their first steps to spread the humanitarian spirit of the program and contribute more funds to join BIDV in realizing the meaningful goal of "For a Green Life".
