Language and music build a cultural bridge between Vietnam and Japan
On December 14 in Hanoi, the Institute for Cultural, Language and Education Development (CLEF) in collaboration with the Vietnam - Japan University (Vietnam National University, Hanoi) organized a workshop with the theme "Translation and translation of Vietnamese - Japanese lyrics" and the 2nd Vietnam - Japan Folk Song Festival. The event is not only an opportunity for academic exchange but also a unique space for cultural exchange between the two countries.

On December 16, Samaritan's Purse (USA) - Representative Office in Vietnam coordinated with the Union of Friendship Organizations of Quang Binh province to present 250 boxes of household goods to households affected by storm No. 6 (Tra Mi) in 2024 in Truong Thuy commune, Le Thuy district (Quang Binh province).
Establishment of the Union of Vietnamese Organizations in Russia
On December 14, at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Moscow, the Association of Vietnamese in Russia held its 4th Congress. The Congress decided to develop this organization into the Union of Vietnamese Organizations in Russia and hold the Union's 1st Congress.
VUFO and the MTC Center of the Mormon Church continue to coordinate in implementing charity activities.
On December 16, 2024, a delegation of 24 volunteers from the Hanoi Branch of the Volunteer Training Center (MTC), The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon) and 05 staff members of the Asia Regional Representative Office of the Mormon Church Charitable Center (LDSC) in Hong Kong, led by Mr. Rob Howell, Head of the Hanoi Branch, visited and worked with the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations (VUFO).
