As Thanh Nien reported, on the morning of April 30, the parade will start from the Nguyen Binh Khiem intersection and move along Le Duan Street, passing the main stage in front of the Reunification Hall. When finished, the group will split into 4 directions and move to the assembly location.

Many people said they would stay awake and find a convenient location such as a shop or a building with a "nice view" in the center of Ho Chi Minh City to be able to observe the parade.

Find a restaurant with a good location

In the 4 directions of movement to the assembly locations, direction 1 group moves along Le Duan - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Loi - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Phu Dong Thien Vuong - Cach Mang Thang Tam intersection and stops at Tao Dan park.

In particular, the Phu Dong Thien Vuong intersection is the intersection of many major roads such as Nguyen Thi Nghia, Pham Hong Thai, Cach Mang Thang Tam, Nguyen Trai, Le Thi Rieng, Ly Tu Trong. These roads have many shops, wide roads and clear sidewalks, convenient for people and tourists to observe the procession moving.

In particular, opposite Phu Dong 6-way intersection is Starbucks Coffee New World located at the corner of Pham Hong Thai and Nguyen Thi Nghia streets, on the ground floor of New World Saigon Hotel. It is known that the shop opens at 6:30 am every day, not too late, so if you choose a good location, you can observe the parade.

In direction 2, the group moves from Le Duan Street - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Le Thanh Ton - Nguyen Hue - Me Linh Square roundabout and gathers at Ben Bach Dang Park.

In the Nguyen Hue area, there are many shops with good locations to observe the parade and marching troops. However, not all shops open early. On Nguyen Hue Street, residents and tourists can observe the parade and marching procession from above at the cafes in the famous 42 Nguyen Hue apartment building.

Besides, there are still some other ideal shops. Starbucks coffee shop on the ground floor of Saigon Garden building at 99 Nguyen Hue. This shop also opens early in the morning, at 6:30, so you can find a good location to observe.

Which restaurant is open 24/7?

On Nguyen Hue Street, residents and tourists can visit The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf restaurant at 101. This restaurant is open all night, an ideal place for many people. Ms. Thanh Thao (26 years old, living in Thu Duc City) said that this is her regular restaurant every time she goes to the center of Ho Chi Minh City. On this holiday, she plans to stay here from the evening of April 29 and choose a nice location at the restaurant.

"On the second floor of the restaurant, there is a pretty nice view of Nguyen Hue Street. If you go early, you might get a seat. On April 30, I will be determined to wake up early to have a seat and enjoy the holiday," she added.

In direction 3, the group moves from Le Duan - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Nguyen Dinh Chieu - Dinh Tien Hoang streets and stops at Hoa Lu Stadium. On this route, the Three O'clock coffee shop on Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, open 24/7, will be an ideal viewing spot.

The restaurant said it does not accept reservations. Wanting to get a good spot here, many people decided to come early. Among them, there was Ms. Thuong (26 years old) and her group of friends.

"We will stay at the bar all night. This year, on April 30, I will not return to my hometown in Dong Nai but will stay to join in the national holiday atmosphere. For me, this is a great event because it marks 50 years of national reunification, an impressive number," she added.

In direction 4, the procession goes from Le Duan - Nam Ky Khoi Nghia - Dien Bien Phu - Hai Ba Trung - Le Van Tam Du Park. At major intersections, there are also places to observe the parade, marching through this area.

After watching the parade, from Le Van Tam park, visitors can walk to the cafes along Hai Ba Trung street to relax during the holidays or explore Tan Dinh church, Tan Dinh market...

In addition to the 4 directions mentioned above, the organizing committee also prepared 20 LED screens for people to watch live, specifically: Le Duan Street (6 screens), Nam Ky Khoi Nghia Street (3 screens), Le Loi Street (3 screens), Nguyen Hue Street (2 screens), Dong Khoi Street (2 screens), Dien Bien Phu Street (2 screens), Nguyen Dinh Chieu Street (2 screens).
