Growing moringa trees, breaking branches, stripping leaves, tired hands. How do 8X Khanh Hoa people process it to sell well and get high salary?

In early August, Dan Viet reporters had the opportunity to return to the Hoang Hoa Thon tea production facility in Phuoc Thuong village, Phuoc Dong commune, Nha Trang city (Khanh Hoa province). Here, the facility is neatly arranged and displays raw materials for processing tea products from the Moringa tree.

Nguyen Diem Dien Trang (born 1986, Phuoc Dong, Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa) said that the facility was put into operation in 2011 and was initially managed by her parents and sold using traditional methods, so the number of customers was still modest.

After that, Trang returned by doing business using both traditional methods and modern sales through social networking sites such as Facebook, Zalo, Tiktok, etc. With this method, many customers have been able to access the products and receive more specific instructions.

In addition to the above sales methods, Ms. Trang is now also building a business method by introducing and promoting products through markets, fairs or seminars.

According to Ms. Trang, technology transfer in business is not easy, it requires a lot of research and learning to do. Thanks to being quick in business, products are regularly supplied to customers nationwide and products sold on the market are twice as much as before.

Currently, Ms. Trang is providing products such as: Moringa tea, Moringa powder, Moringa ginseng wine, Agarwood tea, products are sold at prices ranging from 250,000 - 500,000 VND/kg (depending on the product).

To create products, workers in the facility must go through many strict stages such as: First, the raw materials are grown naturally outside without using pesticides or fertilizers; then harvested, dried for about a day, then brought in to dry and incubate.

Next, put the Moringa raw material into the roasting stage. This is one of the stages that determines the quality of the product, so it must be done very carefully. If it is roasted too raw, it is not good, and if it is too burnt, the product is considered spoiled.

Moringa tea products have been certified as typical rural industrial products and she is currently building products that meet OCOP standards. Her facility is equipped with many machines and equipment such as: Raw material cutting machines, grinding machines, packaging machines,...

Ms. Trang shared that currently the market consumes a lot of these products, because products from Moringa are very good for human health, purifying, cooling, calming,... in the future, Ms. Trang will continue to promote the business strategy of products from Moringa.

According to the owner of Hoang Hoa Thon, the Moringa tree is very easy to grow and easy to live. After about 6 months of planting, the leaves can be harvested. After about 3-5 years, the stems and roots can be harvested to make herbal medicine.
