Quang Tri has 60 students winning national excellent student awards

Today, January 18, the Ministry of Education and Training has just announced the results of the National Excellent Student Competition (HSGQG) for high school students in the 2024-2025 school year. Quang Tri province has 60/89 students winning prizes, accounting for 67.4% of the total number of students participating in the competition.

Among them, 1 First Prize in Informatics went to Le Minh Nhat, a 12th grader in Informatics at Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted; 7 Second Prizes (Math 1, Biology 1, Informatics 3, Geography 1, English 1); 17 Third Prizes and 35 Encouragement Prizes. Notably, in this competition, the Informatics, Geography and English teams all had 100% of the students participating in the competition winning prizes.

Specifically, the units with students participating and winning prizes include: Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted with 52 prizes; high schools: Quang Tri town with 3 prizes; Vinh Linh, Gio Linh, Tran Thi Tam, Bui Duc Tai, Ben Hai Secondary and High School each unit has 1 student winning a prize.

The national excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year will take place from December 25-26, 2024. The whole province has 89 students from 9 teams of the following subjects: Mathematics, Information Technology, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Literature, History, Geography and English participating in the exam.
