Echoes of Unification Day in Quang Ninh mining land

In the jubilant atmosphere of the whole country celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30 (1975-2025), the people of Quang Ninh joined the people of the whole country in joy and pride. On all roads, from urban areas to peaceful countrysides, the red flag with yellow star fluttered brightly. Officials, party members and people gathered together in front of the big screen, attentively following every solemn moment of the Program celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. The bright eyes, bright smiles and even emotional tears created a beautiful picture of the spirit of solidarity, patriotism and deep pride of the people of Quang Ninh Mining Region for the glorious history of the nation.
From early morning on April 30, a large number of people living in the area near the headquarters of the Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee of Cao Xanh Ward, Ha Long City, gathered at the large hall to watch the live ceremony, parade, and march to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. The most notable of these was the appearance of many veterans and youth union members. People in Quarter 4, Hong Ha Ward, Ha Long City were present at the cultural house from 6am to watch the live parade celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the reunification of the country. Many people wore red shirts with yellow stars to express their pride and happiness about the development of the country after 50 years of reunification. Early in the morning, many veterans of Quang Yen ward, Quang Yen town, came to the ward's hall to watch the live broadcast of the anniversary ceremony, together recalling heroic memories in the resistance war for independence and territorial integrity for the nation. The streets and alleys of Cam Pha are bright with flags and flowers. Veterans and people in military uniforms and flowing ao dai come to the cultural house to attend the ceremony to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South. Mr. Cao Chu Toan (89 years old) and Mrs. Pham Thi Le (88 years old, 65 years old party member) of Cam Trung ward, Cam Pha city, eagerly came to the cultural house of the area to watch the Celebration program. Officials, veterans, and people of Quang Yen ward, Quang Yen town, excitedly watched the live broadcast of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. Veterans, cadres, and youth union members present at the Cao Xanh Ward People's Committee Hall, Ha Long City, solemnly performed the flag-saluting ceremony, sang the National Anthem, and joined in the solemn and heroic atmosphere of the ceremony. All hearts and souls turned to Ho Chi Minh City, celebrating the day of national reunification and the unification of the country. Veterans of Ward 4, Ha Tu Ward, Ha Long City, solemnly salute the flag when the National Anthem is played during the commemorative program. People in Zone 1A, Cam Trung Ward, Cam Pha City, excitedly and proudly sang the melody of the song "As if Uncle Ho were here on the day of great victory". People were proud and moved to listen to General Secretary To Lam's speech about the journey of unifying, protecting and developing the country. The red flag with yellow star flutters in the hands of Cam Pha City veterans - those who fought for the independence and freedom of the nation. The veterans who were once brave, not afraid of hardship, bravely fought, and were ready to sacrifice for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, now have bright smiles on their lips, waving flags to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's independence and reunification. Emotion, pride and strong belief in the country's development are the common feelings of the people and officials of Tran Phu ward, Mong Cai city, watching the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and national reunification. Veterans - representing a heroic "fire and flower" era, those who sacrificed their youth and part of their blood for independence and freedom, and youth union members - representing a bright future, a peaceful and happy life of Vietnam, sat together to watch the ceremony. Mr. Tran Xuan Nhu, a veteran who participated in many fierce battles in the Southern battlefield and in Laos, had tears in his eyes and was moved when the song "Color of Red Flowers" was played. Veteran Dang Ngoc Truong, Quang Yen ward, Quang Yen town, who participated in the historic Ho Chi Minh campaign, could not help but choke up and be moved when remembering his comrades who fell on the day of independence for the country. Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc (93 years old, Cao Xanh ward, Ha Long city), whose two children sacrificed their lives in the resistance war against the US, could not help but be moved when watching the Commemoration Ceremony... For her, seeing the country at peace and beautiful, the sacrifice of her two children is truly worthwhile. "Looking at the children and grandchildren present at the Commemoration Ceremony, I remember my two children." That is what Heroic Vietnamese Mother Nguyen Thi Thuc shared when watching the Commemoration Ceremony... 2 generations: fighting to protect and build the country, moved and moved to witness the great event of the nation. Uong Bi City veterans who participated in the campaign to liberate the South recall heroic memories of the nation's great day. The people of Tran Phu Ward, Mong Cai City, in their red shirts with yellow stars, joined in the joyful, excited, and proud atmosphere of the whole country to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. All shared the same pride and burning patriotism in this great historical event of the Vietnamese people.
