Petrolimex opens the Final of the Sports Festival for Employees and Workers to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its founding.

Attending, congratulating and encouraging the competitive spirit of Petrolimex employees were comrade Le Hai An - Chairman of Vietnam Industry and Trade Union; comrade Bui Hoang Tung - Member of the Party Committee, Secretary of the Government Youth Union; comrade Nguyen Manh Cuong - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture and Sports of Ninh Binh province and leaders of local departments and branches.

On the Petrolimex side, there were comrade Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors; comrade Luu Van Tuyen - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Member of the Board of Directors, General Director; comrade Dang Tran Hieu - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee; comrade Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, Head of the Arts - Sports Subcommittee to celebrate 70 years of Petrolimex, along with representatives of the Board of Directors and professional departments of the Group, representatives of the Standing Committee, Executive Committee of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union; members of the Arts - Sports Subcommittee and leaders of Petrolimex member units.

Representing Ha Nam Ninh Petroleum Company - the unit coordinating to host the Final Sports Festival, there was comrade Tran Minh Tien - Chairman and Director, Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Final Sports Festival of Petrolimex Employees and Workers.

Over the past 70 years, the petroleum industry, led by the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, has always accompanied the country into a new era. Aiming to compete to achieve achievements to celebrate the important events of the country, to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels, to welcome the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), the 70th anniversary of the founding of Petrolimex (January 12, 1956 - January 12, 2026), the 100th anniversary of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam Petroleum Industry (March 13, 1928 - March 13, 2028), with the tradition of caring for and investing heavily in the emulation movement in labor production, building corporate culture and internal cohesion, the Group has issued plans and regulations for organizing Sports Festivals and Competitions throughout the industry so that these cultural and sports events truly become festivals of the country. Employees, thereby creating motivation to excellently complete production and business goals, upholding the tradition of solidarity, being ready to overcome all difficulties and challenges, together building Petrolimex to develop more and more sustainably.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival Final, comrade Nguyen Thanh Son - Chairman of the Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, Head of the Subcommittee on Arts and Sports to celebrate 70 years of Petrolimex affirmed that the Sports Festival is not only an opportunity to improve health, improve the cultural and spiritual life of workers, but also a valuable opportunity for units and individuals in the Petrolimex family with more than 30,000 union members - workers, to exchange, learn, bond, and strengthen solidarity - which is one of the core values ​​under the Petrolimex roof. Through the Sports Festival, to see more clearly the spirit of "Working hard - Playing sports with all your heart - Long-term connection", in line with the motto "Healthy to work, produce and contribute", thereby contributing to promoting the image and position of the Vietnam Petroleum Group - a key enterprise, a pillar ensuring national energy security with a 70-year tradition of building and developing with the country.

Speaking to encourage the athletes before the competition, Comrade Pham Van Thanh - Member of the Government Party Committee, Party Secretary, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrolimex acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival and the hosting units for their careful preparation, creating an impressive Sports Festival season; At the same time, he warmly congratulated the best athletes, representing regions across the country who gathered in the final round - typical faces of youth, strength and spirit of Petrolimex. With the spirit of determination, solidarity and will to rise up, tempered from mass activities such as today's Sports Festival, the collective of Petrolimex workers will continue to join hands, excellently complete all tasks, continuing the glorious history of 70 years of the Group. Comrade Pham Van Thanh also reviewed the process of formation and development, Petrolimex has always affirmed its position as a key enterprise in the energy sector, making great contributions to the cause of socio-economic development, ensuring national energy security. In addition, the Group's Board of Directors always pays special attention to improving the material and spiritual life, taking care of the health of workers. Immediately after the opening ceremony, the competitions of the Sports Festival took place extremely excitingly and dramatically, true to the nature of the final round.
