From folk experience
In a market that is already saturated with hundreds of different hair care product lines, choosing to start a business with shampoo and conditioner is not easy without differentiation.
For Ms. Suong, what makes the difference is reviving the traditional experiences of ancient Vietnamese women such as using soapberry water to wash hair, green tea water to disinfect the scalp, combining them with modern production lines, setting high goals for safety, benignity and meeting international organic standards.

Instead of doing everything manually in a small factory, Ms. Suong proactively researched and selected a manufacturing partner with international standards. Along with that, she started to complete the process of quality declaration, trademark registration, and clinical testing.
More importantly, the Green Shine duo contains ingredients certified by Ecocert Cosmos Fragrance standards - one of the most stringent certifications in the organic cosmetics industry. Not only that, the products also surpass the evaluation requirements of the Korean Organic Certification Organization, a market that is very demanding with beauty care products.
“
I do not want to stop at creating "natural" products but aim to develop truly "organic" products, recognized by prestigious international organizations, ensuring absolute safety for users.

The Green Shine duo is the result of more than two years of research, improvement and testing of many formula versions, to achieve the current stability in features, safety and user experience.
According to the announcement, Green Shine shampoo is extracted from green tea and soapberry, two traditional herbs that help clean, reduce dandruff and stimulate hair growth, while Green Shine conditioner uses green tea and silk extracts to help soften hair and protect hair from the effects of sunlight and polluted environment.
"Both products are sulfate-free, paraben-free, colorant-free, and synthetic fragrance-free. In particular, the gentle fragrance is created from natural essential oils that meet Cosmos Fragrance standards, and does not cause irritation to sensitive scalps," said Ms. Suong.
Start-up by women and for women
Not only stopping at the product story, Ms. Suong's entrepreneurial journey also shows a strategic and responsible approach to the market. She does not set an ambition to cover the market immediately but focuses on building a compact distribution system, linked to the local women's community, targeting customers who really need safe products, free of toxic chemicals.

Each agent is trained in natural cosmetics and proper hair care, creating a distribution network that is both commercial and has widespread value. With this orientation, Green Shine began to expand beyond the local area, appearing in a number of organic food chains and natural cosmetics stores in major cities.
In addition, the product is registered for distribution on domestic e-commerce platforms and some cross-border sales channels. Initial cooperation agreements with some customers and distributors show the great potential for expansion of this product in the near future.

Evaluating the startup model of Ms. Nguyen Thi My Suong, Mr. Pham Ngoc Sinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City, said that this is an encouraging example of a systematic and sustainable startup direction.
From the beginning, she clearly identified the market, found qualified production partners, focused on legal factors and ensured quality according to international standards. This shows that the internal development capacity and the opportunity to bring startup products to a wider market are completely feasible.
“
In the context that start-up products in the Central Highlands are still facing difficulties in production capacity and uneven quality, products like Green Shine can serve as a practical model for other startups to learn from and develop together. In particular, with proper investment from the beginning, the product has the potential to be upgraded to a 4-5 star OCOP product in the near future.
