VFF President visits Thanh Hoa Football Federation, hoping to have more talent for the national team

Thanh Hoa football is growing more and more

Mr. Nguyen Duy Tu, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the province, Permanent Vice President of Thanh Hoa Football Federation, reported at the meeting on the outstanding results in the past time. The community football movement has spread widely, youth training has been focused, and many member clubs have operated in a disciplined manner. In particular, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club has affirmed its position in the domestic arena with the championship of the 2023 National Cup, the 2023-2024 National Super Cup and has succeeded in maintaining stability in the V-League. The club's youth teams also regularly win medals in national tournaments, while school and community football activities attract thousands of young people to participate.

However, Thanh Hoa football still faces difficulties in terms of facilities, financial resources and human resources, especially in rural and mountainous areas. Mr. Nguyen Duy Tu proposed that VFF support in training coaches and referees, hosting national tournaments and creating conditions for local officials and coaches to participate in training courses and exchange experiences.

VFF will support Thanh Hoa football

Speaking at the meeting, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the efforts and dynamism of Thanh Hoa Football Federation. He emphasized that Thanh Hoa is one of the localities with development steps closely linked to the Vietnam Football Development Strategy to 2030, vision 2045. For sustainable development, in parallel with investment in infrastructure, Thanh Hoa needs to pay attention to training and developing human resources from coaches, referees to amateur guides. VFF will support by organizing training courses and is ready to coordinate to bring national amateur football tournaments to the locality.

Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan also highly appreciated the proposal to build a rehabilitation hospital for Thanh Hoa football athletes and emphasized that this is a direction in line with modern development trends. VFF has cooperated with Vinmec Sports Medicine Center - a unit recognized by AFC as an excellent Sports Medicine Center - and is ready to coordinate and support Thanh Hoa in this field.

At the end of the meeting, Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan encouraged Thanh Hoa Football Federation to soon hold a new term Congress to consolidate the organization and create a foundation for long-term goals. Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan emphasized that VFF always attaches importance to accompanying member federations, considering this the key to developing Vietnamese football from the roots, building a solid foundation for success at the professional level and the national team.
