To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, across the country, 250 key projects were inaugurated and started construction simultaneously. These are not only meaningful activities to celebrate the great national holiday, but also a vivid demonstration of the strong will and aspiration of the business community. With their scale and widespread stature, these projects are expected to create an explosive effect, attract investment, stimulate production and business, create jobs and ensure social security. Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HBT Vietnam Precision Mechanical Joint Stock Company, said that the key projects inaugurated and started construction this time have strategic significance, not only solving immediate economic problems but also shaping the future of sustainable development of the country. From energy projects to transport infrastructure, each project is an important link in the overall system. Among the many projects that have just been inaugurated, the most prominent is the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh Commune, Hanoi City), a project with a total area of ​​over 900,000m², positioned to become the largest exhibition center complex in Southeast Asia and in the TOP 10 largest exhibition complexes in the world. With the highlight being the Kim Quy Exhibition Building, with a 24,000-ton, 56m-high steel dome symbol, simulating the image of the Kim Quy God associated with the legend of the Co Loa heritage land... it will be an ideal space to organize thematic exhibitions and large-scale events.

"This will be the place to welcome more than 23,000 enterprises from Japan, Vietnam, Thailand and many other countries to attend the FBC ASEAN 2025 International Trade Exhibition for the Manufacturing Industry, which will take place in mid-September this year. With a scale of more than 500 booths, gathering about 80% of manufacturing enterprises, they will participate in displaying technology, products, components, specialized seminars, exploring technology, connecting the precision mechanical processing industry, designing and manufacturing molds, casting - forging - stamping, rubber casting, plastics, electricity - electronics, automation.... The exhibition is the most anticipated event for mechanical and manufacturing enterprises like us. The National Exhibition Center will be the place to witness thousands of meetings and contacts between buyers and suppliers/manufacturers, serving as the basis for creating thousands of orders worth millions of US dollars... demonstrating the remarkable growth of manufacturing enterprises. "It is also a launching pad for the development and advancement of the country's supporting industry," Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung shared.

The O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant project has just started construction and was selected by the Government as one of 250 typical projects to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2, opening a new chapter for national energy security. Mr. Le Manh Hung, Chairman of the Member Association of Vietnam National Energy Industry Group, said that energy projects such as the O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant not only ensure the overall efficiency of the Block B Gas Power Project Chain, but also contribute significantly to ensuring national energy security. With a power generation capacity of more than 9,300 MW, accounting for about 10% of the total power generation capacity of the entire national power system, the O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant will provide clean, stable power for the Mekong Delta region, improve the reliability of the power system and promote socio-economic development of the region. This is a vivid demonstration of the group's high political determination and long-term vision in the new development phase. The groundbreaking ceremony of O Mon IV Thermal Power Plant is of key significance because it is the first downstream link in the chain that is qualified for construction, creating a foundation for receiving gas flows and generating commercial electricity in the near future. With a total reserve of about 100 billion m³ of gas, the project chain is considered a "new energy source" for Vietnam in the coming decades. When put into operation, 5-6 billion m³ of gas per year will be brought to the mainland, converted into tens of billions of kWh of clean electricity, stably supplementing the power system, reducing dependence on traditional sources that are increasingly difficult to expand such as coal or hydropower. Not only ensuring fuel supply, the project chain also creates momentum for the development of supporting industries, logistics services, improving domestic manufacturing and installation capacity, especially the increasingly deep participation of Vietnamese enterprises in the entire implementation process, Mr. Le Manh Hung emphasized.

Discussing the role of transport infrastructure, Mr. Ho Anh Duc, CEO of Duc Dung Trading and Transport Company Limited, shared that logistics infrastructure is the 'blood vessel' of the economy. Each bridge, each road, each new seaport inaugurated or started construction helps significantly reduce transportation costs and shorten the time of goods circulation. This not only helps businesses save costs but also enhances the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods in the international market. When logistics costs decrease, product prices also decrease, making it easier for goods to reach the global market. That is the real effectiveness that infrastructure projects bring.

However, to truly optimize, existing projects need to be invested synchronously in connecting infrastructure - from roads to railways and waterways - to create a seamless, congestion-free transportation system. In addition, digital technology is applied to manage and coordinate transportation and cargo flows intelligently, in line with modern development trends. Modern logistics centers also need to be invested more to improve storage and distribution efficiency. Only then will logistics costs be deeply reduced. These projects are the solution to the long-standing "congestion" problem of the economy, Mr. Ho Anh Duc emphasized. It can be said that this simultaneous inauguration and groundbreaking event not only demonstrates the strength of the State economic sector, but is also a vivid demonstration of the strong rise of the private economic sector, in the spirit of Resolution 68-NQ/TW of the Politburo. Projects invested by the private sector, with their stature and modern technology, are becoming symbols of innovation and aspiration of Vietnamese enterprises. More importantly, with the consensus of the State in creating a favorable business environment, this is a great motivation for enterprises, especially the private economic sector, to confidently make breakthroughs.
