On August 21, information from the Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police said that the unit's traffic patrol and control team on Ho Chi Minh Road assisted in taking a victim bitten by a venomous snake to the emergency room in time. Thanks to that, the victim has overcome the critical stage.
Accordingly, at about 3:40 p.m. on August 21, Road Patrol Team No. 4, Traffic Police Department, Lam Dong Provincial Police, performed patrol duty on Ho Chi Minh Road (old National Highway 14) through Dak Mil commune.
Here, the patrol team received an urgent request for assistance from the family of Mr. Chiu A Sang (32 years old, residing in Dak Mil commune) regarding Mr. Sang being bitten by a poisonous snake, which was life-threatening.
After receiving the report, the patrol team quickly used a special vehicle of the Traffic Police force to take Mr. Chiu A Sang to the Central Highlands Regional Hospital ( Dak Lak province, about 70km from the patrol team's duty area) for emergency treatment.
Thanks to the support of the patrol team and the active and timely emergency care of the Hospital, Mr. Chiu A Sang has overcome the critical stage and is continuing to be monitored and treated.
The quick and effective actions of the traffic police helped the victim get to the emergency room in the shortest time possible.
