On the morning of April 30, on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung, Director of the City Police Department, led a delegation of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the City Police Department to hold a memorial service to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs at the Monument to the Heroic Martyrs of the Capital Police Department.
The delegation offered incense and flowers to commemorate and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed and devoted their lives to the glorious revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, for peace and unity of the Fatherland, for a peaceful and happy life for the people.
This is a meaningful activity in a series of commemorative activities of the Capital Police demonstrating the ethics of "When drinking water, remember its source" and "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree".

In front of the heroic martyrs of the Capital Police, all officers, cadres and soldiers of the Hanoi City Police vow to study and follow the example of the great President Ho Chi Minh and the heroic martyrs for the rest of their lives; to be absolutely loyal and follow the path of national construction that our Party has outlined; to always uphold the spirit of solidarity, exemplary conduct, efforts and striving to overcome all difficulties and challenges; to devote all their efforts, intelligence and enthusiasm to the cause of national construction and protection, for the peaceful and happy life of the people; to build a truly clean, strong, disciplined, elite and modern Capital Police that can meet the requirements and tasks in the new situation.
