The People's Committee of Ha Dong District has just issued a Plan to organize activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 139th anniversary of International Labor Day (May 1, 1886 - May 1, 2025); the 71st anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2025) and the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Accordingly, Ha Dong district will strengthen propaganda work on the significance and historical significance of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country on April 30, 1975, the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7, 1954, and the great victories of our nation in the resistance war against the French and the Americans to save the country. Organize seminars and talks on the historical Ho Chi Minh Campaign, the Dien Bien Phu Campaign, as well as the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh. Organize exchange activities to review the tradition of revolutionary struggle, visit historical revolutionary sites, etc.

Ha Dong District promotes decoration and visual propaganda

Launch widespread patriotic emulation movements among cadres, civil servants, public employees, and people of all walks of life in the fields of study, labor, production, and business; strive to fulfill economic and social development targets and tasks in 2025.

The District People's Committee directed the Center for Culture - Information and Sports together with the People's Committees of wards, agencies, units, and schools to promote decoration and visual propaganda in many forms: Pano, pink flag clusters, vertical banners, banners, lights, flowers, combined with lighting decoration on main roads, densely populated areas, traffic hubs, flower gardens, public areas, headquarters of the District Party Committee, People's Council, and District People's Committee.

For cultural, artistic, sports and entertainment activities, the District People's Committee organizes: Special talks to celebrate Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day on April 21; World Book and Copyright Day on April 23; organize a Children's Contest to promote and introduce summer books in 2025; display books and newspapers on the themes of anniversaries; participate in cultural and artistic festivals organized by Hanoi City. The District organizes a special art program to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day at the outdoor stage in front of the District Administrative Center on the evening of April 27, 2025.
