Comrade Trinh Duy Thuan - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Pleiku City and other comrades in the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee chaired the conference.

In the first quarter, the socio-economic situation of Pleiku City continued to develop steadily. Total retail sales of goods and consumer service revenue is estimated at over VND9,950 billion, up 9.51% over the same period. Total development investment capital is over VND3,580 billion, up 16.4%. Total state budget revenue by decentralization is estimated at over VND351 billion, up 4.54% over the same period.

The city has effectively implemented social security policies and carefully organized activities to serve the Lunar New Year 2025. Urban beautification, new rural construction, basic construction investment and tourism development have been directed with attention. The program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses has been actively implemented, and 63/69 houses have been completed so far.

The city has seriously implemented the policy of reorganizing the apparatus, proposing a plan to merge commune-level administrative units, arranging offices and managing assets after the merger. Party member development has been focused on, in the first quarter, 23 new party members were admitted, bringing the total number of party members to 11,134 comrades.

At the conference, delegates discussed issues such as budget collection progress, the implementation of the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses, the progress of basic construction projects, improving the quality of operations of One-Stop Departments at all levels, the work of building the political system, and the thoughts and aspirations of cadres, civil servants, and employees regarding working conditions, policies, and the working environment in localities.

In his concluding remarks, Pleiku City Party Secretary Trinh Duy Thuan requested all levels and sectors to continue to seriously carry out assigned tasks, while strengthening leadership and direction so that investment projects can be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality and achieving high efficiency. Comrade Trinh Duy Thuan also requested to continue promoting propaganda and mobilization work to create consensus among cadres, civil servants and people, while promptly resolving difficulties in budget collection and implementation of key projects.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Executive Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 33 individuals who achieved the title of "Excellently completing tasks" for 5 consecutive years (2020-2024). The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 typical grassroots Party organizations for "Excellently completing tasks" in 2024, 1 grassroots Party organization for "Excellently completing tasks" for 5 consecutive years (2020-2024), and 19 Party members for excellently completing tasks for 5 consecutive years.
