Coming from a farming family, Ms. ALang Thi Chot (born in 1981) living in Ben Hien village (Ka Dang commune) determined that in order to stabilize her life, she needed to rely on the strength of agricultural production.

Having been trained many times and introduced to good economic development models, Ms. Chot realized that raising pigs and growing acacia, although hard work, are suitable for her family's conditions.

In 2010, she borrowed 50 million VND to plant 10 hectares of acacia, expand more than 2 hectares of longan garden, raise pigs, grow upland rice, open a grocery store, and sell soft drinks. From the first acacia harvest in 2015, Ms. Chot's family began to have a stable source of income.

Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ka Dang commune - Ms. A Lang Thi Mut shared that in Ka Dang commune, in addition to Ms. Chot who knows how to overcome difficulties and work hard to improve her life, many women are typical examples of the qualities of Vietnamese women in the period of promoting industrialization and modernization of the country: "Confident, self-respecting, loyal, and responsible".

A typical example is Ms. Zo Ram Thi Nhia in Cot Buom village. Ms. Nhia's family boldly borrowed capital to expand the acacia plantation area to more than 5 hectares, grow longan, raise local pigs, raise chickens and fish for an annual income of more than 70 million VND.

According to Ms. Vi Thi Lang - President of the Women's Union of Song Kon commune, many local households have escaped poverty thanks to the diligence, hard work and eagerness to learn of the women's union members. Typical examples include Ms. Clau Thi Bhop, residing in Bhohoong village, Ms. Bnuoch Thi Hang and Ms. Zo Ram Thi Nho, both residing in Pho village.

For Ms. Clau Thi Bhop, in 2014, the couple boldly borrowed 50 million VND to open a small grocery store, buy a motorbike to transport necessities such as vegetables, fruits, meat and fish to each alley to sell to people. "Take short-term to support long-term", she bought more damaged vegetables that traders sold cheaply, made wine, and planted more sweet potato leaves to raise 10 breeding pigs.

After 4 months, Ms. Bhop sold her first batch of pigs, earning more than 10.5 million VND. In 2015, her family cleared 3 hectares of upland land to grow rice and acacia trees. The land did not disappoint the people, the first acacia harvest earned 51 million VND, an amount of money she had never thought of.

Currently, her family owns 3 hectares of 3-year-old hybrid acacia; 4 pigs, 3 sows and 18 piglets. After deducting expenses, the monthly income is from 5 to 7 million VND. Ms. Bhop also actively encourages her sisters to carry out movements well; she is a typical example for members to learn and follow.
