The HCM City Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs receives support from support units for wounded and sick soldiers being treated and living in the area.

At the conference, nearly 50 businesses and philanthropists signed agreements to provide additional support to war invalids and sick soldiers in difficult circumstances, and typical examples of war invalids and sick soldiers living in the area, with VND2 million/person/month. In addition, each unit will support at least 5 war invalids and sick soldiers and maintain this until the end of 2030.

Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has 27,596 war invalids, of which 13,027 receive monthly allowances according to state regulations. According to Mr. Tran The Tuyen - Vice President of the Vietnam Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, President of the Ho Chi Minh City Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs, the fact that businesses join hands to support each war invalid and sick soldier with an additional 2 million VND/month to care for and improve the lives of families of war invalids and sick soldiers shows gratitude, continuing the morality of "When drinking water, remember the source", "When eating fruit, remember the person who planted the tree".

This is also a good tradition that the Party Committee, Government, Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations, and people of the city have built, preserved and spread over many years.
