PRC-25 of the H67 Intelligence Group.

The PRC-25 is a high-performance transceiver, equipped with common enemy technology in the invasion operations. From 1972 to 1975, this machine contributed to the officers and soldiers of the H67 Intelligence Group to successfully complete many important tasks such as: Grasping information and time of many US-puppet operations, serving our units to proactively attack and win; protecting the information receiving points, serving the transportation of revolutionary cadres. Typically, on April 6, 1972, comrade Tran Minh Tam, an officer of the H67 Intelligence Group, used the PRC-25 to detect early and accurately the time and direction of movement of the enemy unit on a sweep operation into the area where the Group was stationed in Ben Tre. Thereby, the Group commander developed a combat plan, planted homemade mines and ambushed the enemy. With only 22 officers and soldiers, in this battle, the Group destroyed more than 100 enemies, wounded many, captured many weapons, guns, and bullets, and crushed their sweep operation... During the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising, under the direction of the Regional Intelligence Department, directly commanded by the H67 Intelligence Group, the entire unit prepared the battlefield well to serve our troops in liberating the town and the entire Phuoc Long province, at the same time creating a diversion plan, dividing the force into many groups, forcing the puppet troops in many posts, outposts, and military sub-regions to lay down their weapons and surrender unconditionally... With these exceptionally outstanding achievements, on June 3, 1976, the H67 Intelligence Group was honored to be awarded the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces by the Party and the State.
